Leo Brostowitz of Wisconsin Rapids has been selected as the Week 4 Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Raiders hand Wausau West its first loss of the season. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 4. A total of 9,346 votes were cast, as Brostowitz's 3,273 were enough to edge out second place Taylor Walter of Watertown, who tallied 3,113 votes.

Wisconsin Rapids remained unbeaten in league play with a 36-20 victory over Wausau West on Friday night. After West pulled with 22-14 with just over four minutes remaining in the game, Rapids running back Leo Brostowitz scored a pair of touchdowns in less than 30 seconds to give the Raiders the cushion they needed. He'd finish the game with 29 carries for 229 yards and five touchdowns, as he accounted for 234 of the team's 285 total yards in the contest.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named WisSports.net Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 5 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
