By Travis Wilson

The Kwik Trip Game of the Week allows you, the fans, to pick what you feel is the biggest high school football game in the state each week. Not only will that game get featured on WisSports.net, but WSN Content Manager Norbert Durst will fill in for Travis Wilson and make it his destination this week, with updates, photos, videos, and stories from the big game.

Fans can vote once per day, and voting goes through Wednesday at 1 pm.

And of course, no trip to a big game in Wisconsin would be complete without a stop or two at Kwik Trip!!

Kwik Trip is a family-owned company with more than 700 stores around the Midwest, and has the best selection of snacks, drinks, and of course gas to fuel your pre- or post-game needs. So what will it be for you...glazers, chocolate milk, or maybe Travis' favorite, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich!

Columbus at Lodi

Lodi is unbeaten and dominated much of the season, a 17-14 decision over Lakeside Lutheran last week not withstanding. The only defeat for Columbus was a forfeit to Big Foot, as the Cardinals have not lost on the field this season. Something will have to give here, and first place in the Capitol Conference is on the line. The Lodi running game has remained strong this year despite the loss of All-Conference back Lucas Heyroth in Week 1. Jaylen Montgomery has stepped up in a big way, rushing for 590 yards and seven touchdowns in four games. Columbus sophomore Colton Brunell is averaging nearly 175 yards per game on the ground.

Manitowoc Lincoln at Menasha

Just as we all expected, the last remaining unbeaten team in FRCC-South play is Manitowoc Lincoln, who went 1-6 in the spring season just a few months ago. The Ships dropped the first two non-conference games of this year, but have rattled off four straight victories, though a very tough closing stretch awaits. It starts this week against Menasha, who was the favorite in the league coming in to the year with a FRCC-North crossover loss to West De Pere on its ledger. Manitowoc quarterback Brett Prange has been the difference-maker, with 1,007 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground plus 468 yards and four touchdowns through the air.

Rice Lake at Menomonie

The Big Rivers Conference race has been fascinating to follow this season, with all kinds of twists and turns, and we're barely halfway through the league schedule. At this point in the year, however, it is Rice Lake that sits alone on top of the standings. The Warriors get another big test, and big opportunity, this week against Menomonie, who has faced a tough schedule and been very consistent on both offense and defense.

Franklin at Oak Creek

This rivalry game is one of the best in southeast Wisconsin, and is for first place in the Southeast Conference. The teams play for a trophy that is a helmet with the Franklin colors and logo on one side and the Oak Creek colors and logo on the other side. Oak Creek has paid its dues with a young team the last couple seasons, and they've parlayed that experience into a strong start to 2021. The Knights haven't won in this rivalry since 2014 when they took down Franklin 20-12.

Middleton at Verona

The Battle for Highway M as Middleton is trying to keep pace with Sun Prairie in the Big Eight Conference race. Verona has already lost once in league play this season, against Madison Memorial, and the Wildcats can't afford another defeat if they want any chance to compete for a conference crown. Verona quarterback Mason Fink has really come on the past few weeks, with nine touchdowns and no interceptions in the last three games.
