Prep Props - Week 7

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning, and for players to be included, coaches must enter game stats by 8 am on Monday.

Coaches, if you do not have access or need assistance entering stats info, please contact us ASAP. Players, parents, and fans, if you do not see your favorite player's stats here, please encourage your team's coach to enter stats info on WSN by the weekly deadline.

Week 7 Rushing Leaders

Beaver Dam sophomore running back Gabe Klatt set a new school record with 398 rushing yards on 35 carries with six touchdowns as the Golden Beavers downed Janesville Craig 38-27. Klatt's big day broke the previous mark held by R.J. Shelton, who would go on to play at Michigan State.

Week 7 Passing Leaders

With running back Jakob Simmons, one of the state's leading rushers coming in, out of the game early after just two carries, the Westosha Central Falcons turned to the air, with quarterback Nick Argersinger throwing it 39 times. He completed 28 of them for 367 yards and two touchdowns, though it wasn't enough as Westosha went down to Badger 42-27.

Week 7 Receiving Leaders

Waukesha South went down early and big to Arrowhead on Friday in a 54-13 loss to the Warhawks, but the Blackshirts' passing game did continue to put up yards, with senior Dylan Guckenberger hauling in 12 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown.
