Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week: Rachel Helm, Muskego

The Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week is an honor given on WisSports.net to the top senior boys and girls three-sport athletes in the state. Players are recognized each week on WSN, with the a boys and girls winner of the Pat Richter Award at the end of the season to the best three-sport athlete of the year.

The goal and mission of Bug Tussel Wireless is to level the playing field for rural residents despite where they may live. Whether you work from home, your office is downtown or you are manning the family farm, they believe residents should be connected without having to compromise speed, price, quality, service or the environment.

Cross Country Honors: Four-year varsity runner for the Warriors... coached by Katrina Beeck... helped her team win D1 state title as a freshman... finished in the top 25 at the state meet and was team's number 5 runner... team placed third at Nike Cross Country Regionals... earned honorable mention all-state by the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association (WCCCA) as a freshman... helped team repeat at D1 state champions as a sophomore... helped team finish second in Nike Cross Country Regionals and qualified for Nike Cross Country Nationals... named WCCCA first-team all-state as a sophomore... helped the Warriors finish fourth at state as a junior and finished sixth individually... second-team WCCCA all-state as a junior... 

Basketball Honors: Enters her senior year as a three-year varsity performer for the Warriors... coached by Katie Golomski...  the 5-foot-6 guard averaged 7.2 points per game a junior... honorable mention all-Classic Eight... 

Track & Field Honors: Enters her senior year as a three-year varsity performer... coached by Jerome Missiaen... helped team to a Division 1 first-place finish at the state track & field meet in 2019 as a freshman... part of 4x800m that finished first in 2019 at the state meet... helped lead the Warriors to the D1 state title in 2021... member of 4x400m that finished first at state as a junior...
