Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week: Addison Ostrenga, Sun Prairie

The Bug Tussel Wireless Triple Threat Athlete of the Week is an honor given on WisSports.net to the top senior boys and girls three-sport athletes in the state. Players are recognized each week on WSN, with the a boys and girls winner of the Pat Richter Award at the end of the season to the best three-sport athlete of the year.

The goal and mission of Bug Tussel Wireless is to level the playing field for rural residents despite where they may live. Whether you work from home, your office is downtown or you are manning the family farm, they believe residents should be connected without having to compromise speed, price, quality, service or the environment.

Football Honors: Three-year varsity starter .. Captain ... Second-team all-Big Eight Conference sophomore year ... Nine receptions for 99 yards on offense and 68 tackles on defense as a sophomore ... Honorable mention all-state selection as a junior .... 19 receptions for 328 yards on offense and 29 tackles on defense as a junior ... Through eight games of senior season, 17 receptions for 312 yards and five touchdowns on offense and 21 tackles on defense for the 8-0 Sun Prairie Cardinals of coach Brian Kaminski ... University of Iowa recruit as a tight end.

Basketball Honors: Enters senior season as a three-year varsity performer for Sun Prairie and coach Jeff Boos ... Two-year captain for the Cardinals ... Averaged 7.4 points as a sophomore and 7.5 points as a junior.
