University School senior Rebecca Daskal and sophomore Isabel Werner have been selected as the RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week for the week of October 11-17 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,358 total votes this week. Daskal and Werner topped all vote getters with 1,952 votes. Prescott's Ava Salay came in second with 1,644 votes.

Daskal and Werner came into the WIAA Girls Tennis State Tournament as the top seeded doubles team in Division 2. The pair finished on top, beating East Troy's Sophia Rondeau and Katie Metcalf in the championship bout 6-2, 6-3. Daskal won last season with a different partner, but with sophomore Werner finished 25-7 on the season and a Division 2 state title.
