Prep Props - Level 1

Prep Props is our weekly look at the best individual statistical performances in the state, with the leaders in rushing yards, passing yards, and receiving yards. Prep Props is published every Monday morning, and for players to be included, coaches must enter game stats by 8 am on Monday.

Coaches, if you do not have access or need assistance entering stats info, please contact us ASAP. Players, parents, and fans, if you do not see your favorite player's stats here, please encourage your team's coach to enter stats info on WSN by the weekly deadline.

Level 1 Rushing Leaders

Nicolet scored its first-ever playoff victory with a 48-6 blowout of Milwaukee King in Level 1 of the WIAA postseason. The Knights did not complete a pass in the game, relying on a strong rushing attack that put up more than 500 yards. Braeden Ott did most of the damage, carrying the ball 22 times for 350 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 15.9 yards per carry. He also had three tackles and a forced fumble on defense.

Level 1 Passing Leaders

Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian quarterback Robby Michael completed 26-of-30 passes for 431 yards with seven touchdown passes to post a perfect 158.3 passer rating in a 59-0 win over Sheboygan Falls. In the game, Michael broke the state record for most career touchdown passes, as he is up to 93 in his four years on varsity. He broke the previous record of 92 touchdown passes by Franklin's Ben Hempel.

Level 1 Receiving Leaders

In Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian's 59-0 rout of Sheboygan Falls, the passing game put up huge numbers, including senior receiver Casey Verhagen. He hauled in 14 passes for 250 yards with four touchdowns, two in the second quarter and two in the third quarter.
