Adrienne Kirch banked in a deep three-pointer at the buzzer to lift McFarland to a 41-38 win over Edgerton in a Rock Valley contest.

With the game tied at 38 and time running out, McFarland got an offensive rebound and sophomore Ava Dean made an underhand toss it to Kirch who stepped in and knocked down the game-winner, handing Edgerton, ranked No. 4 in the WSN Division 3 Coaches Poll, its first loss of the season.

Kirch finished the game with a team-high 14 points, including four three-pointers. Below is the video of the game-winner.

McFarland led 38-35 with just under a minute to go before Edgerton junior Sylvia Fox tied the game with a 3-pointer from the left corner.

Fox scored a game-high 17 points, including making four three-pointers.

McFarland sophomore standout Teagan Mallegni, a 6-0 wing who holds numerous NCAA Division I offers, made two go-ahead baskets, one of which was a three-pointer, in the final three minutes of the game and finished with eight points.

Sophomore point guard Brynn Kirch also contributed eight points in the Spartans' victory which improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Rock Valley.

Edgerton drops to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the Rock Valley.
