Below are the RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of  December 27 through January 2. Voting is open until Thursday at 4 pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week Nominees: December 27 - January 2

Hoyt Blaskowski, Marshfield wrestling: Blaskowski took home an individual crown at the annual Bi-State Wrestling Classic in La Crosse this past week. Competing at the 138-pound weight class, the junior squared off with Tanner Andersen of G-E-T/Melrose-Mindoro in the championship bout. Blaskowski pinned Anderson at 4:54, taking home the title and improving his season record to 20-2. Blaskowski's title win also helped Marshfield take home the Division 1 team title.

Camden Daul, Stratford boys basketball: Stratford won its home tournament, securing wins over Owen-Withee and Bangor in impressive fashion. First in the 65-44 win over Owen-Withee, Daul scored a team high 16 points for the Tigers. A tough Bangor team met Stratford in the championship game where the Tigers outlasted the Cardinals 58-47. Daul again scored a team and game high 24 points. Daul has been a key reason why Stratford is 9-1 so far on the year.

Ava Foley, Belleville girls basketball: Belleville scored a pair of wins and at Evansville over the holiday break. Foley was the catalyst in each win, starting with the 54-52 victory over Brodhead. She scored 15 points and hauled in six rebounds as Belleville gave Brodhead its first loss of the season. With a little over three seconds left in the game, Foley took the inbounds pass and drilled the game winning shot with for Belleville with 1.2 seconds left on the clock. She then had 25 points, 13 rebounds and six steals in a 64-44 win over host Evansville.

Luke Haertle, Lake Country Lutheran boys basketball: Lake Country Lutheran only played one game over the holiday break, but the undefeated and top ranked Division 3 team squared off with undefeated and Division 4, second ranked Sheboygan Lutheran. Lake Country came away with an 85-70 win over Sheboygan, which took place at the Rick Majerus WBY Shootout at Concordia University. Haertle proved to be the best player on the court throughout, tallying 26 points. The Wisconsin Badger preferred walk on commit added nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals.

Mahra Wieman, Reedsburg girls basketball: Wieman was incredible as Reedsburg won a pair of games and tournament title at the Watertown Holiday Classic. First she scored 21 points as Reedsburg routed Rhinelander 80-26. The Division 2, top ranked Beavers then squared off with a very formidable Germantown squad. Wieman had a career night as she poured in a career high 37 points as the Reedsburg outlasted Germantown 88-79.
