Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball because I love the fast-paced, high-intensity flow of the game. The teamwork needed to be successful fuels my fire for the sport too."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "High school sports give me a sense of community. My favorite part is looking around the gym seeing all the people who came to support you and your team. It makes me feel like it is something bigger than just a game. It brings a small town like ours together."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "My softball coach has a motto of 'next' which encourages us to forget about the mistake or bad play we just had, clear our heads, and make the next play. Don’t let one mistake snowball into many."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "My most memorable moment was last year when our softball team went to state. It was the second time in school history we made it that far, and the feeling of community support was incredible. It gave me the chills when I realized how many people were traveling with us to watch and be a part of our journey too."

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "The best part of being a three-sport athlete is the fact that you are always involved in your community and you learn a sense of accountability. Your team expects just as much out of you as you expect out of them."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "The toughest part is never getting a day off. Your schedule is always extremely busy, so you never get to relax a little. Late nights followed by early mornings can be rough sometimes along with keeping up your grades."

Favorite Opponent (and why): "My favorite team to play against was Prentice a few years ago. We ended up winning in overtime and it was a hard-fought game on both ends of the floor. The intensity in the gym was unbelievable."

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "The teammate I admire the most is my sister, Kacy. I get to witness firsthand all the hours we’ve spent in the gym together pushing each other to be at the top of our game. She strives to be the best she can be from the first whistle to the final buzzer."

College Plans: "I plan to attend St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN to further my academic and athletic career on the basketball team. My plan is to go into graphic design and specialize in logo design."
