The WisSports.net Game of the Week allows you, the fans, to pick what you feel is the biggest high school basketball game in the state. The game will be featured on WisSports.net and will have Mark Miller in attendance if a boys' game wins and Norbert Durst at the contest if a girls' game wins the voting. 

Fans can vote once per day, and voting goes through Wednesday at 2 pm.

Neillsville (8-2, 6-0 Cloverbelt East) at D5 No. 3 Columbus Catholic (10-1, 5-0 in Cloverbelt East) on Thursday 
Neillsville travels to Marshfield to take on Columbus Catholic in a key early season showdown in the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference. The Warriors and coach Mike Gaier are led by the all-around strong play of junior guard Andrew Brown (6-0), who is averaging 17.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Neillsville also is receiving strong post play from seniors Mason Roenz (6-6) and Santana Subke (6-5). Roenz is averaging 11.8 ppg while Subke leads the team in rebounding at 10.1 rpg. Columbus Catholic lacks size so dealing with the two frontcourt players of Neillsville will be a challenge for coach Joe Konieczny and the Dons. However, Columbus Catholic does boast a deep line-up that relies heavily on perimeter shooting. Senior Sam Wilczek (5-11) and sophomores Emmitt Konieczny (6-0) and Blake Jakobi (5-9) lead the way.

D1 No. 9 Middleton (8-2, 7-0 in Big 8) at Sun Prairie (4-4, 2-4 in Big 8) on Thursday 
Sun Prairie has won three of its last four outings after a slow start due in part to a COVID-19 stoppage and a late football season. However, the Cardinals seem to have their basketball legs under them now and rely on two seniors who have played a lot of varsity basketball the past few seasons for coach Jeff Boos. Forwards Addison Ostrenga (6-4) and Ben Olson (6-4) are among the team leaders in most statistical categories with Olson going for 28 points in a recent loss to highly regarded Madison La Follette. Middleton is tied for first place in the Big Eight Conference with La Follette and coach Kevin Bavery has a deep lineup led by the strong all-around play of talented junior guard Gavyn Hurley (6-5), who leads the team in scoring at 19.0 ppg. 

Waukesha West (9-4, 5-2 in Classic 8) at D3 No. 9 Catholic Memorial (9-3, 5-2 in Classic 8) on Friday 
Waukesha West has won its last seven games. All four of the Wolverines' losses have come against ranked opponents. They have a balanced scoring attack with seven players averaging at least five points per game, led by sophomore Nevaeh Thompson (5-10) who averages 8.9 points per game. Other top players for coach Mark Busalacchi and the Wolverines include junior wing/forward Caden Krohn (6-0, 8 ppg), senior point guard Ashlyn Yow (5-6, Metropolitan State Univ. signee, 7.7 ppg), and junior Madeline Andersen (5-11, 7.1 ppg), amongst others. Catholic Memorial has won seven consecutive games, which includes a 74-65 win over D2 No. 10 Cedarburg. All three of the Crusaders' losses are to ranked teams, including league foes Kettle Moraine (D1 #3) and Arrowhead (D1 #4) which are also the same teams to defeat Waukesha West in league play. Senior wing/guard Grace Lomen, a 5-9 UW-Parkside signee, highlights the team, averaging 21 points and 12 rebounds per game. Coach Nikki Nellen and the Crusaders also get double-digit scoring from freshman Jenna Welsch (5-9) and sophomore Olivia Conway (5-6) who tally 12 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. 

Lakeland (7-6, 4-1 GNC) at Mosinee (13-0, 4-0 GNC) on Friday 
Mosinee is one of 11 remaining unbeaten teams in the state. The Indians defeated Lakeland, 54-42, in their first meeting on November 30. Mosinee is led by senior guards Kate Fitzgerald (5-8) and Alexis Freiboth (5-6) who average 13.1 and 11.3 points per game, respectively. Another key performer for coach Scott McKellips and the Indians is senior wing Jenna Placek (5-9) who chips in 8.8 points per contest. Lakeland has played a strong non-conference schedule with four of its losses to ranked opponents. The Thunderbirds are highlighted by Ouimette sisters Julianna (5-10, junior) and Kristina (6-1, freshman) who both have NCAA Division I offers and average 18.5 and 16.5 points per game, respectively. Another notable contributor for coach Melissa Ouimette and the Thunderbirds is freshman Saylor Timmerman (6-0) who nets 6.6 points per contest. 

Wisconsin Rapids (5-5, 4-0 in WVC) at Wausau West (8-2, 3-0 in WVC) on Friday 
The teams are both unbeaten in Wisconsin Valley play. All five of Wisconsin Rapids' losses have come against ranked teams, including Appleton East and Reedsburg. Senior guard Megan Clary (5-8) headlines the Red Raiders' roster, averaging 20.9 points per game. Fellow senior Chelsea King (5-7) contributes 13 points per contest while another senior in Ella Bruns (5-10) averages eight points per game for coach Mitch Wolding and the Red Raiders. Wausau West is led in scoring by junior Lexie White (5-11) who averages 17.8 points per game. Other top players for WBCA Hall of Fame coach Tom Weinkauf and the Warriors are juniors Kenzie Deaton (5-8) and Molly Anderson (5-11) who average 12.8 and 11.6 points per game, respectively.
