Boys Games

Baldwin-Woodville (9-3, 4-2 in MBC) at D3 No. 9 Prescott (11-1, 6-0), 7:00 p.m. on Friday
Two of the top teams in the Middle Border Conference are slated to square off on Friday in Prescott. Upstart Baldwin-Woodville trails Prescott by two games in the loss column in the league standings so a victory is of utmost importance. Senior Keegan Ofstie (6-4) ranks among the team leaders in scoring (12.1 ppg) and rebounding (5.5 rpg) for Baldwin-Woodville. Prescott, a perennial title contender in the Middle Border, features a potent offense led by junior Jordan Malmlov (21.7 ppg) and sophomore Dallas Wallin (16.7 ppg).

River Falls (12-1, 6-1 Big Rivers) at D1 No. 4 Eau Claire Memorial (12-2, 7-0 in Big Rivers), 7:15 p.m. on Friday
The top two teams in the Big Rivers Conference meet in the Old Abes' gym with first place in the league standings likely on the line. River Falls dropped a 50-38 decision to visiting Eau Claire Memorial in December, the lone loss on the season for the Wildcats. Senior Ethan Campbell (6-4) leads a balanced River Falls' attack in scoring (12.4 ppg) and rebounding (7.0 rpg). Eau Claire Memorial lost non-league games to Appleton East and La Crosse Central, but the Old Abes now are at full strength with the return of athletic and physical 6-foot-8 forward LJ Wells. Concordia-St. Paul recruit Will Boser (6-6) leads the Old Abes in scoring at 17.2 ppg.

Spring Valley (7-2, 3-1 in DSC) at Elk Mound (8-5, 3-2 in DSC), 7:15 p.m. on Friday
Spring Valley and Elk Mound are chasing undefeated Durand in the Dunn-St. Croix Conference standings and neither can afford another league loss if they hope to overtake Durand. Spring Valley has three players averaging in double figures in Tyler Bowman (16.5 ppg), Cade Stasiek (11.2 ppg) and Charlie Maier (10.8 ppg). Elk Mound is getting 17.2 ppg and 5.8 rpg from sophomore Kaden Russo (6-3).

Girls Games

D5 No. 5 Belmont (12-1, 4-0 in Six Rivers West) at Potosi/Cassville (8-3, 3-1 in Six Rivers West), 7:30 p.m. on Thursday
Belmont won the first meeting, 48-44, in early December. The Braves' lone loss was against Galena, Ill., 48-34. Five players average over six points per game for coach Kaleen McGettigan and the Braves, led by junior Tori Nodolf (5-11) leads the team with 10.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest. D3 No. 3 Prairie du Chien (12-1, 3-0 in SWC) at Lancaster (11-2, 2-1 in SWC), 7:30 p.m. on Thursday
The first time these teams met, Prairie du Chien won 59-29. The Blackhawks are winners of their last 11 games since falling to D3 No. 1 Waupun, 71-60, back in November. Headlining the roster for Prairie du Chien is senior guard Lily Krahn, a 5-10 Wisconsin signee, who averages 20.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game.
