Cameron senior Tanner Gerber has been selected as the RallyAroundUs Athlete of the Week for the week of February 21-27 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 6,626 total votes this week. Gerber topped all vote getters with 2,187 votes. Oconto Fall's Clayton Whiting came in close second with 2,046 votes.

Gerber completed his prep wrestling career this past weekend capturing his fourth straight WIAA Individual State Title. In the 132 pound weight class, the senior grappler took down Troy Dolphin of Kenosha Christian Life in the championship bout with a 7-3 decision. Gerber finished the year 49-1 on the year and joined a very rare club of winning four prep state titles. He's won state titles in 106, 113 and 126 pound weight classes in past years.
