Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Basketball Awards.

The finalists for the top senior point guards have been selected. The winner will be announced the week after the state tournament. 

Chevalier Emery, Jr., 6-0, Neenah
The catalyst behind the tremendous success of the Neenah team this winter, Emery is headed to NCAA Division I Merrimack College in Massachusetts. Cleaver with the ball and poised to make big shots at the end of games, Emery drilled a three-point shot in the closing seconds to help Neenah squeak past Kimberly 66-64 in a sectional semifinal. He enters the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament averaging 18.4 points and 3.9 assists with 51 made shots from beyond the three-point arc.

Ashton Janowski, 6-2, Pewaukee
As steady and competitive as they come, Janowski is the ring leader for one of the state's elite teams. An outstanding ball handler, passer and decision maker, Janowski is looking to help Pewaukee capture its second straight WIAA Division 2 championship this weekend at the Kohl Center in Madison. The NCAA Division II recruit for Hillsdale College is averaging 15.8 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 2.6 apg. 

Jackson Paveletzke, 6-3, Kimberly
The Player of the Year in the Fox Valley Association did it all for Kimberly. He put constant pressure on the defense with his attacking nature, both in transition and in the half-court setting. The NCAA Division I Wofford College recruit scored at an extremely high level (30.0 ppg), but he also did an excellent job of finding his teammates with his strong passing skills (6.1 apg). 

Seth Trimble, 6-3, Menomonee Falls
Like Emery and Janowski, Trimble will be playing for a state championship this weekend in Madison. The North Carolina recruit is the most athletic backcourt player in the state and makes plays off the dribble that others simply cannot. Trimble is averaging 26.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals for Menomonee Falls, which won the Greater Metro Conference title. 

Max Weisbrod, 6-4, DeForest
The son of DeForest coach Craig Weisbrod, Max Weisbrod was named the Player of the Year in the Badger East Conference after helping the Norskies to a 23-5 record. Weisbrod is able to impact the game on many different levels with his defense, rebounding, passing, scoring and overall toughness. The NCAA Division II recruit for Northern Michigan averaged 21.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 7.4 assists.
