Severin Hilt of West Bend East wins 2022 WIAA Boys 3-Point Challenge

Junior Severin Hilt of West Bend East won the 2022 WIAA Boys 3-Point Challenge at the Kohl Center in Madison on Saturday morning.

10 participants were selected for the event based on stats information entered by coaches into the WisSports.net database. The top two three-point shooters (minimum 75 attempts) from each division were chosen to participate.

Hilt scored 17 points in the opening round, 21 in the semi-finals, and 22 in the finals. Hilt snuck into the semi-finals after tying for the last spot in the opening round.

Tim Franks of Homestead and Andrew Lau of Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran were also in the finals. Other competitors included Jack Jorgensen of De Pere, Joshua Knueppel of Wisconsin Lutheran, Cameron Pendleton of Catholic Memorial, DJ Johnson of Dominican, Cameron Martzke of Fall Creek, Ashe Oglesby of The Prairie School, and Blake Jakobi of Columbus Catholic.
