Following the completion of the 2021-22 boys basketball season, it is time to take a look at updated scoring records for career, season, and single-game, as well as coaching wins.

Career Scoring

Not surprisingly, as the maximum number of games has increased in the last few years as well as the increase to 36-minute games when the WIAA switched to halves, a number of players moved into the career scoring record book.

Sheboygan Lutheran's Casey Verhagen is the highest on the list, as his 2,265 points is good for 19th on the list. Not to be outdone, Lake Country Lutheran's Luke Haertle is just one point and one spot behind, with 2,264 points and 20th place.

Derek Lindert from Pardeeville is tied for 39th on the list with 2,051, sharing the spot with former Onalaska standout Matt Thomas.

Menomonee Falls' Seth Trimble, the 2022 Mr. Basketball selection, finished his career with 2,020 points, 46th on the list.

Finally, Connor Taylor of Wabeno/Laona joins the list in 59th place with 1,929 points.

Two players added their names to the single-season scoring list this year. Brookfield Central senior Andrew Rohde capped off an amazing year with a huge state tournament, scoring 55 points in two games. That moved him to 854 points on the season, with is 14th on the state's single-season list. Kimberly sharpshooter Jackson Paveletzke finished this season with 809 points, which is 22nd.
