South Milwaukee senior Nate Snead has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of April 11-17 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,060 total votes this week. Snead topped all vote getters with 1,121 votes. Badger's Brody Kluge came in second with 693 votes.

Snead almost pitched a perfect, perfect game this past week in a 10-0, five-inning win over Cudahy. The Iowa-Western CC commit saw fifteen total batters in his perfect game, and he struck out an incredible fourteen of them. Snead added two hits, two RBIs, a walk and a run scored from the plate to add to his already outstanding day.
