Andrew Bauer, McDonell Catholic/Regis boys golf: Bauer medaled in both meets he participated in this past week for the McDonell boys golf team. First in a mini-meet at Osseo-Fairchild, the junior golfer shot a 34, finishing six strokes ahead of the second place finisher. His finish helped McDonell win the team title as well with a team score of 322.

Melissa Dietz, Reedsburg softball: Dietz was incredible at the plate for the Reedsburg softball team this past week. In a 21-6 victory over Monroe, the senior slugger did something that is very rare in softball/baseball, she hit for the cycle. Dietz went five for six from the plate with six RBIs and three runs scored in her historic game. She followed that up going two for two with 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored and a walk in an 8-1 win over Mount Horeb. Dietz then went five for six in a pair of losses for the Beavers. First in a 6-1 win over Random Lake, the freshman forward netted four of her own girls and added an assist. Erickson followed that up with two goals and an assist in a 4-2 win over Kettle Moraine Lutheran. On the season, Erickson has 27 goals and nine assists.

Emily Kinnunen, Drummond softball: Kinnunen was beyond spectacular this past week for the Drummond softball team. First in a 6-2 win over Flambeau, she pitched a no-hitter, striking out 16 of 24 batters faced. Both runs came off fielding errors. The junior hurler then had 11 strikeouts and allowed two hits and one unearned run in a 15-1 win over Ashland. Kinnunen then pitched a four-inning perfect game in a 15-0 win over Spencer at the Gilman-Thorp Slamfest. She struck out all 12 batters she faced. Finishing the weekend off, Kinnunen then pitched a seven inning, 7-0 shutout of Stratford, striking out 20 batters and allowing just one hit. Kinnunen also was exceptional from the plate going 11 of 15 over the four games. She had two home runs, five doubles, 13 RBIs and five runs scored.

Jaden Stuhr, Marion baseball: Stuhr started the week off for Marion in dominating fashion, pitching a no-hitter in a 5-0 win over Gresham in game 1 of a double header. He struck out ten batters in the five innings of work. The junior utility man ended the week pitching five and two-thirds innings and earning the win in a 7-5 victory over Rosholt.
