Brock Koeppel of Westosha Central has been selected as the Week 3 Jolly Good Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day helped the Falcons score a huge victory to open conference play. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 3. A total of 3,254 votes were cast, as Koeppel's 1,081 were enough to edge out second place Blake Schraufnagel of Mayville, who tallied 865 votes.

Westosha Central has not been in the playoffs since 2010, but the Falcons scored a huge opening Southern Lakes Conference victory over defending league champion Union Grove, 43-24. Quarterback Brock Koeppel was outstanding, completing 15-of-26 passes for 311 yards and four touchdowns. He also scored a rushing touchdown in the victory.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named Jolly Good Football Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 4 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
