Team 21 coached by Jason McRoberts won the 2022 Boys Showcase championship

The 2022 WSN Basketball Showcase was held at Kettle Moraine High School on Sunday, September 11th, and it was a great day of hoops all-around. More than 180 athletes competed in the boys portion of the event in the afternoon.

To view Mark Miller's recap with observations including his All-Showcase Team, breakout performers, top shooters, and top young players to watch, stay tuned later this week.

Players were divided into 24 teams, with four pools of six teams each. Teams played every other team in their pool once, then each first place finisher of their respective pools advanced to the four-team playoff bracket.

Team 21 coached by Jason McRoberts, head coach for the Melrose-Mindoro boys team, went 5-0 in pool play and knocked off Team 6 in the championship game. Members of Team 21 are: Nathan Close, Wauwatosa East (2025), Alex Greene of Wisconsin Lutheran (2025), Canan Huss of McDonell Central (2023), Gavin Jahns of St. Mary's Springs (2023), Zach Kinziger of De Pere (2025), Cade Kohnen of Marquette (2024), Paxton Krugman of Lodi (2024), Dominic McRoberts of Melrose-Mindoro (2023), and Hudson Torrez of Big Foot (2024).
