Grossman ended the day with 45 kills, 21 digs and eight aces over the span of the five matches.

Nate Haberli, Monona Grove

Monona Grove won four matches this past week, and Haberli powered the offensive through all four. The senior forward started the week off with five goals in a 9-0 win over Mount Horeb. He added another five goals in a 9-0 shutout win over Stoughton. The Silver Eagles then had two matches against Onalaska and Holmen on Saturday and Haberli again showed out. In the 3-0 win over Onalaska, he had a solo goal and then scored another hat trick, scoring three goals in a 5-1 win over Holmen. Haberli had 14 goals in four matches over the week.

Manny Putz, Onalaska

Putz ran away from the competition Saturday at the All-American Invitational at Luther College in Iowa. The multi-state meet had 218 boys in the field and Putz finished ahead of them all. The sophomore runner ran the course in 15:46.88 seconds, winning the race by just under four seconds. Putz's finish helped Onalaska finish fifth as a team at the meet.

First in a 3-0 sweep of Stratford on Thursday, the junior setter and middle blocker tallied 13 assists, nine kills and three blocks.
