Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week Nominees: September 12-18

Nora Cerroni, Waukesha Co-op

Cerroni earned medalist honors this past weekend at the second Classic 8 Conference Mega Mini-Meet. The first round of the meet was held at Edgewood Golf Course as Cerroni shot a 36 to take the lead after day one. The senior golfer followed the 36 up with a 38 in round two at the Broadland Golf Course. Cerroni shot a 74 overall, winning the meet by two strokes.

Savanna Charron, Fox Valley Lutheran

Fox Valley Lutheran swept the competition at its own home tournament this past weekend and Charron set her teammates up for success all day. The senior setter tallied 65 assists, 23 digs, eight aces and five kills through the five matches on Saturday. Cerroni's play aided in the Foxes sweeping New Holstein, Winnebago Lutheran, New London, Sheboygan Christian and Menasha en route to a first place finish.

Pace Jefferson, Seymour

Jefferson has been a scoring machine for Seymour this season and that continued in two wins this past week. In a 4-3 win over Shawano, the senior forward scored a lone goal, proving the difference in the match. Jefferson followed that up by dominating on the pitch in a 9-1 win over New London. He netted five goals by himself while assisting on two others.

Carter Kriewaldt, Freedom

Freedom is undefeated and ranked third in the most recent WSN Football Coaches Poll in Division 3. This past Friday Kriewaldt was a big reason why the Irish routed Wrightstown 42-7. The senior running back had 14 carries for 147 yards and three touchdowns. Kriewaldt added five catches for 38 yards and another score through the air.

Joseph Stoddard, Mount Horeb

Stoddard ran to a first place finish at his home race this past weekend for Mount Horeb. The senior runner finished the 5,000 meter race at the Norsk Golf Club with a time of 16:11.50. Stoddard's time was better by more than ten seconds than the second place finish runner.
