Mount Horeb senior Joseph Stoddard has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of September 12-18 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 6,414 total votes this week. Stoddard topped all vote getters with 2,554 votes. Seymour's Pace Jefferson came in second with 2,473 votes.

Stoddard ran to a first place finish at his home race this past weekend for Mount Horeb. The senior runner finished the 5,000 meter race at the Norsk Golf Club with a time of 16:11.50. Stoddard's time was better by more than ten seconds than the second place finish runner.
