Columbus at Lodi

We have commented several times about the strength and depth of the Capitol Conference, and that comes to a head this week, as the final two unbeaten teams in the league match up. Lodi is ranked seventh in Division 4, as quarterback Mason Lane has been a dual-threat dynamo, averaging more than 125 yard both passing and rushing this season. Columbus is coming off a state semi-final run last season and ranked second in Division 4, as the Cardinals have outscored opponents 296-33 in six games.

Wisconsin Rapids at Marshfield

Marshfield is the last remaining unbeaten team in VFA play, as the Tigers have rebounded from a 0-2 start in non-conference play. This week they get Wisconsin Rapids, who fell to Wausau West to open league play but has reeled off three straight victories to stay in the conference race. If Rapids wins this one, it would create a three-way tie atop the standings heading into the final couple weeks, and a lot of chaos.

Notre Dame at Menasha

The top two teams in the FRCC-South meet up with the league championship very likely decided here in Week 7. Both are undefeated in conference play, as Menasha has pitched three straight running clock shutouts. Notre Dame's defense has been equally as stout, allowing just 14 points in the last four games.

Regis at Mondovi

Regis is unbeaten and has outscored its Cloverbelt Conference competition 169-19 so far this season. The Ramblers have gotten a boost the last couple games from the return of senior Minnesota preferred walk-on commit Zander Rockow. The dynamic duo of Dawson Rud and Jarod Falkner have helped the Buffaloes of Mondovi dominate Cloverbelt Conference foes to the tune of 185-28.

Blair-Taylor at Pepin/Alma

There are three teams currently 4-0 in the Dairyland Conference, including Pepin/Alma, who is unbeaten overall and averaging 43 points per game.  Blair-Taylor lost both non-conference games but has won four straight in the Dairyland, including a thrilling 38-36 win over Augusta on Friday night.
