Favorite Sport (and why): "My favorite sport is basketball, but the other two aren't far behind. I was actually very close to doing both basketball and track in college! I love basketball the most because I grew up playing with my friends and it's always kind of been my thing. Both of my parents and my older sister played basketball in college, so it's also something that I am able to enjoy doing with my family. However, I really enjoy volleyball and track as well because I get to just go play and have fun. Not that basketball isn't fun, but there has just been more pressure with basketball than the other two sports. I like that they are all mentally challenging and they constantly push me to become a better athlete and person."

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): "I think the best part of high school sports are the friendships and experiences. Sports have made my time in high school so much more enjoyable, and I have made some really great friends through each of them which also makes high school more fun! I have had numerous experiences through sports that I will never forget."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "I am very competitive, and all of my coaches have always told me to not be so hard on myself."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "I have a couple for this one. In Volleyball, the most memorable moment was actually last week, on October 15 we played Kettle Moraine Lutheran at home in a match for the conference title. They have always been our rivals and they have beat us the past few years. Our gym was packed, and it was basically standing room only on both sides! The match went to five sets, and we ended up winning. My team had so much energy every single point, and it is something that I will never forget. As for track, the state meets are definitely unforgettable. Being able to compete in such a large stadium with such a large crowd is incomparable to anything else I’ve experienced so far! Finally, my most memorable moment from basketball was our sectional game against Waupun last year. Even though we lost, I will never forget playing in front of so many people. That game was probably the best we had played all year and I think the loss is what makes it more memorable because it was so close. The last thing comes with all three sports, and that is the student sections that I have played against. I never thought I would hear so many people bark at me!"

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: "There are quite a few benefits to playing three sports, but one that I have noticed is how much it has helped my athleticism. Each sport works different muscles and being able to utilize those muscles has helped me in all three. Another great part of playing three sports is the different people that I get to call my teammates. Each sport has a different group, and it has helped me make lots of different friends and meet lots of different people."

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: "I think the hardest part of playing three sports is balancing sporting events after school year-round on top of homework, other extracurriculars, and work. There have been quite a few late nights after getting home from a game or meet, but I've made it through three years so far and wouldn't trade the experience that I've had for anything! Another thing that can be difficult is the impact sports have on my body. Most times, I don't get a break between seasons. With that, the past two years during track, I had practice every day of the week and then went to play club basketball every weekend, usually traveling far to do so. This took a large toll on me, and something was always sore or hurting!"

Favorite Opponent (and why): "It is hard to answer that, I just love competing against good competition in all three sports."

Favorite Professional Team: Milwaukee Bucks

Favorite Professional Athlete: Jayson Tatum

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers

Cumulative GPA: 3.95

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): "Abbie Aalsma. I’ve played against her all three years, and she is so hard to guard!"

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): "Julia Steger. She is the only teammate that does the same three sports as me, and no matter what she is always there by my side to cheer me on! She always brings a positive attitude and always pushes me to be better."

College Plans: "I am committed to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) to continue playing NCAA D1 basketball. I plan to study something in the business field."

Activities Outside of Sports: "Sports are basically what I do year-round, but I am involved in many of my school's clubs, I love spending time with my friends and family, and I love reading or watching TV. I also showed market lambs at the Washington County Fair up until my sophomore year."

I Find it Relaxing to: "Read and be outside swimming, hiking, etc."
