Cochrane-Fountain City freshman Addy Duellman and senior Wesley Pronschinske have been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of October 24-30 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 8,333 total votes this week. Duellman and Pronschinske topped all vote getters with 2,908 votes. Kettle Moraine's Sylvia Marlock came in second with 2,726 votes.

It was impossible to choose between Duellman and Pronschinske as the duo captured gold this past weekend at the WIAA State Cross Country Meet. Duellman, just a freshman, was competing in her first state meet, held at the Ridges Golf Course. She came away with a first place finishing time of 18:58.1, which is the fourth fastest in division 3 state meet history. Pronschinske finished fifth last year at the state meet, taking home gold this year in his senior season. He won with a time of 16.08.9, which was nine seconds better than the second place finisher. It is the first time in history, that a pair of runners from the same school won state championships in the same season.
