The Sussex Hamilton Chargers have been selected as the Level 3 WSN Football Team of the Week following a statewide vote on WSN. The team scored a tight playoff win over Arrowhead to advance to the state semi-finals. The Chargers were chosen from a strong group of nominees in Level 3. A total of 11,678 votes were cast, as Sussex Hamilton's 5,146 votes edged West De Pere's 5,144 votes.

In a driving rain most of the game, Sussex Hamilton was able to grind out a 15-13 victory over Arrowhead despite being out-gained 304-201. Arrowhead led 6-0 at halftime, but late in the third quarter, Sussex Hamilton finally got on the board when Nate Kollath hit Lucas Ruiz from 19 yards out. Kollath ran in a touchdown with 5:44 left in the game to put the Chargers up 15-6 after the two-point conversion, and they'd hold on for the win.
