Jolly Good Level 4 Player of the Week Nominees

Blake Barry, Kimberly

Kimberly never trailed and broke open a close game in the second quarter to cruise home for a 42-21 win over Bay Port to advance to the Division 1 state title game for the first time since 2018. Blake Barry continued to be a catalyst for the Papermakers, carrying the ball 28 times for 279 yards with four touchdowns, including two in the third quarter to give Kimberly a cushion.

Koehler Kilty, Stratford

Stratford never trailed against top-seeded Saint Mary's Springs in Level 4 but saw the Ledgers rally to tie the game in the fourth quarter on two different occasions. The Tigers found answers, and a 15-yard touchdown run by Koehler Kilty in the first overtime possession held up for a 20-14 victory. Kilty finished with 170 hard-earned yards with a touchdown on 36 carries, also contributing five tackles on defense.

Najeh Mitchell, West De Pere

West De Pere powered past Cinderella story Kaukauna to advance to the Division 2 state title game with a 26-7 victory on Friday night. Senior running back Najeh Mitchell was outstanding, running for 211 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. The All-State back also caught two passes for 41 yards.

Luke Noel, West Salem

West Salem avenged its only loss of the year against rival Onalaska to advance to the state finals for the first time since 2007, defeating the Hilltoppers 37-14. Luke Noel ran the ball 30 times for 188 yards and two touchdowns, and was a key performer on a defense that limited the high-powered Onalaska attack to just 172 yards, as Noel recorded a team-high seven tackles.

Wynn Stang, Mukwonago

This is the third Jolly Good Player of the Year nomination for Stang, who also won the award in Weeks 1 and 2. In a 47-21 win over Sussex Hamilton that propelled the Indians to state for the first time since winning it all in 2004, Stang ran for 371 yards and six touchdowns on 33 carries. It is his third game of at least 300 yards this year, as he leads the state with 2,761 yards and 42 touchdowns heading into Madison.
