Edgewood senior Izzy Enz has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of November 7-13 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.
There were 6,010 total votes this week. Enz topped all vote getters with 2,142 votes. Arrowhead's Hailey Tierney came in second with 1,921 votes.
Enz won four events this past weekend at the WIAA Division 2 Swim & Dive Meet, leading the Crusaders to an eighth straight team title. The senior swimmer began by breaking her own record in the 200-yard freestyle, winning the race with a time of 1:47.64. It was her third straight title in this event. Enz also won her third straight 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.83. She then teamed up on a pair of winning relays. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Enz and her teammates swam to a record setting time of 1:34.05 and finished on the 400-yard freestyle relay team that won in 3:26.55.
