The WSN Cup is an award that honors schools that provide and achieve success in many of the WIAA sponsored sports. The award totals points earned in both boys and girls sports. All WIAA sponsored sports are included as part of the scoring for the award.

Middleton came in second in the Large School Division (enrollment over 1,000) after winning the cup in 2018-19 and 2019-20. The Cardinals have put them in a good position to reclaim the WSN Cup after this fall season with 464 points. Despite not winning a team state title, Middleton accumulated points from al nine fall sports including state runner-up finishes in girls golf and girls cross country and state appearances in girls and boys volleyball. The Cardinals also finished fourth in girls swim and dive and sixth in both boys and girls cross country. Arrowhead, last year's Large School Division winner, is close behind in second place with 428 points. Appleton East, Brookfield East and Oconomowoc round out the top five.

Notre Dame hasn't won the Medium School Division (enrollment between 500 and 1,000) since it three-peated from 2010-2013. The Tritons sit atop the standings through the fall season thinks in part to a state title in boys cross country. Notre Dame also won a silver ball in boys soccer, got third in girls cross country and made the state tournament in girls tennis totaling 351 points. Catholic Memorial used a boys volleyball state title and football state runner-up finish to propel them into second place behind Notre Dame. Edgewood, Whitefish Bay and New Berlin Eisenhower sit at three through five in the standings.

Xavier has been a part of the Medium School Division ever since the introduction of the WSN Cup back in the 2009-10 season. The Hawks enrollment has now dropped below 500 for the first time since 2008 and are sitting atop the Small School Division standings after the fall season. State titles in girls volleyball and girls cross country have aided the Hawks 412.7 total points. A runner-up finish in girls tennis and third place finish in boys cross country leave Xavier with a sizable lead. Aquinas, who has won eight Small School Division WSN Cups over the years is second with 278.7 points with a football championship. Regis, Kohler and Lakeside Lutheran round out the top five in the small division.

Divisions - Starting in 2008-09 schools will be placed in three divisions. The Large School Division is for schools with enrollment over 1000. Medium Schools are classified as 500 to 1000 and Small School division is below 500. In 2007-08 schools with enrollments of 900 or more were in the large school division while schools with enrollments up to 900 were in the small schools division.

Points - Points are awarded for finishes in the state tournament of every team sport. Generally, the top 32 teams in each sport are awarded points. If less than 32 teams participate in a non-bracket sport state meet then those are the only schools that are awarded points. For Co-op teams the total points are divided equally amongst all schools in the co-op.
