Players are recognized each week on WSN, with the a boys and girls winner of the Pat Richter Award at the end of the season to the best three-sport athlete of the year.

Tennis Honors: Two-year varsity player in doubles... second-team All-Metro Classic as a junior... qualified for sectionals as a junior and senior... coached by Paul Kollmorgen... participated in volleyball as a freshman and sophomore... 

Basketball Honors: Four-year varsity player for the Spartans... named honorable mention all-conference as a freshman... second-team all-conference as a sophomore... first-team all-conference and all-area honorable mention as a junior... helped team win the Metro Classic title as a sophomore and regional championships as a freshman, sophomore, and junior... team captain as a senior... coached by Corey Scheel... the 5-8 guard is averaging 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.7 blocks per game through six games this season for the Spartans... 860 career points... Favorite Sport (and why): “I love whatever sport is in season but if I had to pick one I would pick basketball. I like the fast-paced nature of it and because of the team aspect. My teammates are like family to me.” 

Best Part of High School Sports (and why): “The best part of high school sports is making memories and having fun with my friends. From the team dinners to the bus rides and celebrating after wins, my teammates are my friends so it is fun getting to hang out with them and play sports together.” 

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Never give up and play until the end.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “I have so many favorite sports memories in high school but my most memorable memories are being back-to-back (Metro Classic) Conference champs in softball and back-to-back powder puff champs.” 

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The best part of playing three sports is getting to know a lot of different girls at school that I might not have gotten to know otherwise.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “I think the toughest part is not having a lot of free time. Whether that’s me to get my homework done or just to hang out with my friends. I’ve had to
learn to manage my time wisely to get everything done.” 

Favorite Opponent (and why): “I would say Lake Mills because it has always been a challenging rivalry.”

My favorite Professional Team: Milwaukee Bucks.

Favorite Professional Athlete: “Giannis Antetokounmpo because he’s fun to watch and gives 100% all the time.” 

Favorite College Team: “I like the Wisconsin Badgers because my dad has always watched football and basketball so I’ve grown up watching them.”

Cumulative GPA: 3.98

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against (and why): “Caroline Strande from Racine Lutheran. I played against her my freshman and sophomore years in basketball. She was a D1 recruit and a really good competitor.” 

Most Admired High School Teammate (and why): “Abby Hafemann because I played both basketball and softball with her and she helped me improve my game and encouraged me to do my best.” 

College Plans: “I am undecided where I am going to college but I’d like to play basketball wherever I go.” 

Activities Outside of Sports: “I like to play with my dog, Oakley, hang out with my friends and prey much do anything outdoors.”

I Find it Relaxing to: “I like to relax at the beach or pool and if I can’t do that I like to watch TV or listen to music to relax.”
