Wisconsin Lutheran junior Kon Knueppel has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of November 28 - December 4 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.

There were 2,676 total votes this week. Knueppel topped all vote getters with 1,206 votes. University School's Jack McGregor came in second with 568 votes.

Knueppel is the top ranked junior in the state by WSN and it's easy to see why. The 6'6" versatile wing holds offers from Wisconsin, Marquette, Virginia and many other top Division 1 college programs. Last week, Knueppel filled the stat sheet beginning in a 99-71 win over Homestead. He had 37 points, 19 rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks. He then had 18 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks and two steals in a 76-49 win over Milwaukee Academy of Science. Knueppel went 23 of 33 from the field and seven of twelve from beyond the arc.

Wisconsin Lutheran squared off with the third ranked team in Division 1, Neenah this past Tuesday and walloped the Rockets 87-48. Knueppel had a modest 14 points and four rebounds off six of seven shooting from the field.
