The Bug Tussel Triple Threat Athlete of the Week is an honor given on WisSports.net to the top senior boys and girls three-sport athletes in the state. Players are recognized each week on WSN, with the a boys and girls winner of the Pat Richter Award at the end of the season to the best three-sport athlete of the year.

Football Honors: Helped West Salem to a 12-2 record, a Coulee Conference title, and a WIAA Division 3 state runner-up finish ... Hauled in 42 catches for 899 yards and eight touchdowns ... Track & Field Honors: WIAA state qualifier in the 4x200 relay, helping West Sale to a 14th-place finish ... Sectional appearance in 4x100 relay ... Coulee Conference first-team 4x100, honorable mention in 100-meter dash, and voted West Salem newcomer of the year.

Best Part of High School Sports: "Being able to go out every night and compete with my teammates. Also, the memories and friendships I was able to make in these sports will carry with me for the rest of my life."

Best Advice from a High School Coach: "I received a note from coach (Justin) Jehn during a football leadership meeting my junior year that read, 'BK this group will follow you.' Those words really stuck with me and I have had the note hung up in my room ever since."

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: "I have three memorable moments. My first being in my junior year of basketball, beating Baldwin-Woodville in the sectional final, cutting down the nets and celebrating with friends. Second being in my senior year in football when we beat Aquinas for the Coulee Conference championship. Finally, my third memorable moment was beating Onalaska in Level 4 playoff game to advance to the state-championship game."

Which Person Has Served as Positive Role Model in Sports For You: "My dad has served as the major role model in sports for me growing up being my youth head coach in various sports I played. He pushed me to be the best athlete I can be and would always tell me to be a great teammate and friend."

Best Part of Playing Four Sports: "In 2021-22, I played four sports and plan to do so in 2022-23 as well. The best part about being in four sports was being able to be a part of many competitions and the ability to make more friends and teammates."

Toughest Part of Playing Four Sports: "The toughest part about playing four sports was splitting my time between baseball and track."

Favorite Opponent: "Onalaska High School because they have been our rival throughout all sports since youth athletics."

Toughest Individual You've Competed Against: "My toughest individual I have competed against was trying to cover Nicky Odom from Onalaska in football."
