Janesville Craig senior Tyler Steuck has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of January 2-8 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 5,078 total votes this week. Steuck topped all vote getters with 1,856 votes. Pewaukee's Milan Momcilovic came in second with 1,725 votes.

The Janesville Bluebirds boys hockey team is 8-4 on the year and Steuck has been one of the top scorers in the state. Last week he continued that torrid scoring pace, starting with three goals and one assist in an 8-7 overtime win over Madison West. The senior forward then netted five goals in an 8-3 win over Verona. According to Wisconsin Prep Hockey, Steuck is second in the state with 43 points.

The Bluebirds have had one game so far this week and lost 4-3 in overtime to Middleton. Steuck assisted on two of the four goals in the loss.
