Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week Nominees: January 16-22

Kamorea "KK" Arnold, Germantown

Arnold is the top player in the state of Wisconsin and has proven why all year, during her senior campaign. Last week she began by dropping a triple-double in a 90-45 win over Kettle Moraine Lutheran. The UCONN commit poured in 20 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in helping the Warhawks double up the Chargers. Arnold then had 30 points, seven assists, six rebounds, three blocks and two steals in an 84-69 win over Menomonee Falls. Germantown is 14-3 and was ranked fifth in the latest Division 1 WSN Coaches Poll.

Jaydon Awe, Pacelli

Awe has shot up the rankings this season as the sophomore has been having an outstanding season for the Pacelli Cardinals. Last week he was near unstoppable beginning in a 69-53 win over Port Edwards. Awe had 25 points, 19 rebounds and seven blocks. The 6'7" forward then did something rarely seen at any level of basketball, he recorded a quintuple-double in a 69-25 win over Rosholt. Awe had 18 points, 13 rebounds, 11 steals, 10 assists and 10 blocks. He finished the week with 27 points, 22 rebounds and eight blocks in a 99-78 loss to Saint Mary's Springs.

Marnie Kahl, Prairie Farm

The Prairie Farm Panthers are 15-0 and ranked third in the Division 3 WSN Coaches Poll. Kahl has been a steadying force in the middle of the lineup all season. Last week she began with 23 points and 11 rebounds in a 64-53 win over Colfax. Kahl then had 22 points and 12 rebounds in an 87-24 win over Lake Holcombe. The St. Norbert College commit finished her week with 17 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and seven assists in a 73-25 win over Winter. Kahl is averaging 20 points and eight rebounds for the undefeated Prairie Farm team.

Rhett Koenig, Prairie du Chien

Koenig is one of the top wrestlers in the state of Wisconsin, regardless of weight class and showed why this past weekend. Competing for Prairie du Chien at the Terry Kramer Open at Fort Atkinson, Koenig came away with an individual title in the 138 pound weight class. Koenig squared off with Darlington's Owen Seffrood in the title match as it went to an ultimate tiebreaker. The Minnesota commit took the win 3-2 to improve his record to 30-2 on the season. Prairie du Chien took home the team title as well, thanks in part to Koenig's first place finish.

Zory Parker, Cameron

Parker had a great week last week, including setting a school record while helping his team score over 100 points. Before that could happen, the 6'0" senior poured in 15 points, six rebounds and three assists in an 84-38 win over Spooner. Parker then made a school record 13 three pointers, scoring 41 points in a 104-61 win over Bruce. For the season, Parker has made 46 three point shots on the season, which is good enough for fifth in all of Division 4.
