WIAC Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week
(Week of January 30 - February 5)

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Hunter Plamann, Senior (Appleton, Wis./Xavier), Guard of UW-Oshkosh 

Plamann became the second Titan to reach 1,000 career points this season, scoring 33 points in UW-Oshkosh’s 74-63 win over UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 1. His 33 points, 12 made field goals and six made three pointers were all career-highs. He also scored 10 points, going four-of-four from the line in a 79-70 victory over UW-River Falls on Feb. 4.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL 

Aleah Grundahl, Senior (DeForest, Wis./DeForest), Forward of UW-Whitewater 

Grundahl led UW-Whitewater to a pair of wins during the week. In a 73-64 victory at UW-Stevens Point on Feb. 1, Grundahl scored 24 points bolstered by a perfect 3 of 3 shooting from three-point range. She added seven rebounds in the contest. In an 84-52 win over No. 17-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 4, Grundahl was 7 of 9 from the floor, 1 of 1 from long range and 5 of 5 from the free throw line for 20 points. She added four assists, two blocks and a pair of steals. For the week, Grundahl shot nearly 64 percent from the field, made all four of her three-point attempts and shot 80 percent from the free throw line for an average of 22 points in over 34 minutes of action per outing.
