Here's some general information and frequently asked questions about the WIAA Girls State Basketball Tournament. 

When is the tournament and when are the games? 
The tournament is held over three days, this Thursday through Saturday. Below is the schedule for the tournament:

Where is the state tournament held? 
All games of the Girls Basketball State Tournament are held at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Click here for a map of the Resch Center area. It is important to note the Spectator Guidelines in the Resch Center, as a number of items are prohibited. Further info on Spectator Guidelines can be found here.

Masks are not required at the Resch Center.

How much are tickets and where can I get them? Ticket price for the tourney is $11 per session when purchased at the Resch Center. Tickets for the tournament will be available for purchase online at the Ticket Star website: https://www.wiaawi.org/Tickets#4269713-girls-basketball All-sessions, as well as individual session tickets, are available online for $11 plus $2 processing fees per session. A link is also provided on the WIAA website at www.wiaawi.org or call Ticket Star at 1-800-895-0071.

Keep in mind that if you buy tickets from one of the schools you will be sitting with that school's section. If you purchase tickets online or at the Resch Center you will be sitting in the general seating area, not with a particular school.

GATE SECURITY PROCEDURES:  All spectators entering the Resch Center are subject to pass through metal detectors. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid missing the start of each session. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to the start of competition.

Where can I find coverage of the tournament? 
TV - The State Tournament will be televised live on WKOW-TV in Madison, WAOW-TV in Wausau, WXOW-TV in La Crosse, WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, WYOW-TV in Eagle River, WMOW-TV in Crandon, WMLW-TV in Milwaukee and WCWF W-14 in Green Bay and the Fox Valley. Allen Media, Inc., will produce the coverage. The championships will also be streamed on the statewide network station websites. Also, download the Magic of March app for live streaming video, scores, highlights and more about the WIAA State Basketball Tournaments. Live coverage of the tournaments on iOS or Android phones and tablets are also available on the app.

In addition, post-game media conferences will be shown live on the WIAA.tv portal of the NFHS Network immediately following each game.

RADIO - Yes, there are many radio stations that will carry the games.  Check your local listings.

THREE-POINT CHALLENGE: The 3-Point Challenge will be held prior to Saturday’s championship games beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Resch Center. A ticket for the Division 3, 4 and 5 championship games session is required for admittance into the event. The top two players per division were selected for the contest based on the best 3-point field goal percentage with a minimum of 75 attempts during the regular season. The contestants representing Division 1 are Sophia Langille of Fond du Lac and Allie Ziebell of Neenah. Representing Division 2 are Mimi Hart of Cedarburg and Emily Jaenke of Fox Valley Lutheran. The Division 3 participants are Ameerah Grant of Brown Deer and Riley Ketterhagen of Oostburg. Division 4 will be represented by Paris Opelt of Neillsville and Lindsey Schadewalt of New Glarus, and the Division 5 contestants Libby Ash of Sevastopol and Jaden Zuber of Monticello. RUSH TO THE RESCH:  One school qualifying for the State Girls Basketball Tournament in each of the five divisions will receive $2000 from the Greater Green Bay Community by selling the most pre-sale tickets in their respective division.

Where can I eat? 
The Resch Center has concessions, but many fans choose to venture out between games or sessions. There are numerous places to eat surrounding the Resch Center within walking or short driving distance.

Where can I park? 
There is considerable parking space across from the Resch Center at Lambeau Field. Parking is $7 per day and includes in-and-out privileges. For a detailed event parking map, click here.
