Pewaukee is headed to the Division 2 state championship game for the second consecutive season. 

The Pirates led 41-24 at halftime and built a 26-point lead with 8:25 left on their way to an 80-63 victory against Lakeland in a state semifinal. 

Sophomore Amy Terrian, a 5-8 guard, scored a team-high 26 points and added seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals. 

Joining her in double figures were sophomore Anna Terrian, a 5-8 guard, and freshman Giselle Janowski, a 5-8 guard, tallying 15 and 14 points, respectively, for coach Jim Reuter and the Pirates. 

Pewaukee shot 24-for-45 from the floor, 8-for-17 from three, and made seven of nine from the charity stripe. 

Lakeland was led by 5-10 senior point guard Julianna Ouimette, a Lehigh University recruit, who scored a game-high 30 points for coach and mother Melissa Ouimette and the Thunderbirds which finished their season with a 22-7 record. 

Pewaukee (28-1) will meet two-time defending Division 2 state champion Notre Dame in the state title game for the second straight season. 

The Notre Dame Tritons will try to three-peat as Division 2 state champions. 

The Tritons topped McFarland, 76-70, in a state semifinal. 

Notre Dame led 40-37 lead at the break and by as many as 10 points in the second half, holding off a strong push by McFarland to head back to the title game. 

Leading the way for the Tritons was junior Gracie Grzesk, a 6-0 Wisconsin recruit, who scored a team-high 20 points and added two steals and two assists. 

Junior point guard Trista Fayta, a 5-7 Illinois State recruit, added 18 points, eight assists, and six rebounds. 

Joining Grzesk and Fayta in double figures were junior Sydney Whitehouse (5-7) and senior Hope Barington (5-9, UW-Oshkosh recruit) who tallied 17 and 15 points, respectively. 

McFarland was led by 6-1 junior Teagan Mallegni who had an outstanding game for the Spartans. She finished with 23 points, 10 assists, nine rebounds, three blocks, and two steals. 

Fellow junior Ava Dean, a 5-8 guard, netted 23 points and added eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals for coach Sara Mallegni and the Spartans, finishing their season with a 26-3 record. 

Notre Dame (28-1) will try to become the sixth team in girls' basketball state history to three-peat as WIAA state champions.
