The 2023 Division 2 WBCA All-State Team is highlighted by three-time first-team selection Gracie Grzesk of Notre Dame. 

Six others received first-team honors for the second time: Sydney Cherney of Reedsburg, Trista Fayta of Notre Dame, Teagan Mallegni of McFarland, Meghan Schultz of New Berlin West, Amy Terrian of Pewaukee, and Gabby Wilke of Beaver Dam. 

Grzesk has helped lead Notre Dame to three consecutive Division 2 state championships. The 6-0 wing/forward averaged 17.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for coach Sara Rohde and the 29-1 Tritons. Grzesk, a Wisconsin recruit, has helped Notre Dame to an 86-3 record and has scored 1,326 points in her first three seasons. 

Cherney led the state in scoring with 31.6 points per game for Reedsburg. The 5-9 guard also averaged 12 rebounds per contest for coach Mark Simon and the 20-6 Beavers. Cherney, who holds several NCAA Division II offers, will enter her senior year with 1,671 career points. She has helped lead Reedsburg to two state tournament appearances, including a state runner-up finish in 2021. 

Fayta has helped lead Notre Dame to state titles in each of her first three seasons. The 5-7 point guard averaged 17 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and 4.0 steals per contest for coach Sara Rohde and the Tritons which finished the 2022-23 season with a 29-1 record. Fayta also connected on 65 three-pointers. The NCAA Division I Ilinois State University recruit has helped the Tritons to an 86-3 record and will enter her senior campaign with 1,020 career points. 

Mallegni led McFarland to its first state tournament appearance since 1999 before falling to Notre Dame in a state semifinal. The 6-1 guard tallied 24.5 points, 11.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.9 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game to go along with 67 three-pointers made for coach and mother Sara Mallegni and the 26-3 Spartans. Teagan, who has a long list of NCAA Division I offers, will enter her senior year with 1,705 points, 665 rebounds, 232 assists, 220 steals, and 173 three-pointers made in her career. Mallgeni was named honorable mention WBCA All-State as a freshman. 

Schultz led New Berlin West to a 17-8 record. The 6-3 forward averaged 22.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.3 blocks per contest for coach Collin Thompson and the Vikings. The UW-Green Bay signee compiled 1,666 points and 861 rebounds in her career and was named a finalist for Ms. Basketball. Schultz earned honorable mention WBCA All-State as a sophomore.  

Terrian has helped lead Pewaukee to state runner-up finishes in each of her first two seasons. The 5-8 guard scored 14.6 points per game with 74 three-pointers made to go along with 4.1 assists, and 2.6 steals per contest for coach Jim Reuter and the 28-2 Pirates. Terrain, an NCAA Division I prospect, has compiled 910 points, 211 assists, and 142 steals through her sophomore season, helping Pewaukee to a 54-6 record.  

Wilke led Beaver Dam to a 22-4 record this season. The 6-2 wing/forward averaged 12.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game for coach Tim Chase and the Golden Beavers. Wilke, an NCAA Division I University of South Dakota recruit, will enter her senior year with 788 career points. 

Maggie Hartwig led Sauk Prairie to a 16-9 record. The 6-2 forward tallied 19.6 points and 14.2 rebounds per contest for coach ​​Jacob Breunig and the Eagles. Hartwig, an NCAA Division I University of Evansville signee, scored over 1,000 points in her career. 

Giselle Janowski helped Pewaukee finish as the state runner-up finish and a 28-2 record. The 5-8 guard tallied 15 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game for coach Jim Reuter and the Pirates. Janowski also connected on 44 three-pointers during her freshman season. 

Julianna Ouimette led Lakeland to a 22-7 record and its first state tournament appearance since 1993. The 5-10 point guard averaged 21.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 7.1 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game for coach and mother Melissa Ouimette and the Thunderbirds. Julianna is signed with NCAA Division I Lehigh University. The Ms. Basketball finalist finished her high school career with 2,349 points (11th all-time), 713 rebounds, 727 assists, and 757 steals. 

Sophia Rampulla led Union Grove to a sectional final and a 25-3 record. The 5-10 guard averaged 17 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 3.6 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game with 75 three-pointers made for coach Rob Domagalski and the Broncos. Rampulla, a finalist for Ms. Basketball, compiled 1,225 points, 871 rebounds, 393 assists, 280 steals, and 152 blocks in her career, leading Union Grove to an 89-15 record. She is signed with UW-Milwaukee.
