D.C. Everest's Hall picked as top wing in senior class

Marcus Hall of D.C. Everest has been selected as the top senior Wing as part of the WSN Senior Basketball Awards

The Player of the Year in the Wisconsin Valley Conference as a junior and senior, the 6-foot-6 Hall proved to be a difficult matchup because of his ability to score in the post, off the bounce and from three-point range. 

In three seasons of varsity competition, Hall scored 1,534 points and snared 485 rebounds. 

The UW-Green Bay recruit averaged 23.0 points in 2022-23 while shooting 58 percent from the field, 81 percent from the foul line and 43 percent from three-point range. In addition to his scoring ability, Hall also contributed 7.5 rpg and 5.0 apg while helping the Evergreens to an 18-8 record under first-year coach Oliver Drake. 
 

Finalists for the award were Hall, Demarion Burch of Milwaukee Hamilton, Tyran Cook of Waukesha South, Jamariea Dalton of Fond du Lac and Mac Wrecke of Arrowhead. 

Past winners of the award include Andrew Rohde of Brookfield Central (2022), Cam Palesse of Waukesha West (2021), Johnny Davis of La Crosse Central (2020), Marcus Domask of Waupun (2019), Tyler Herro of Whitnall (2018), Kobe King of La Crosse Central (2017), Sam Hauser of Stevens Point (2016), Henry Ellenson of Rice Lake (2015), Kevon Looney of Milwaukee Hamilton (2014), Nick Fuller of Sun Prairie (2013), and Sam Dekker of Sheboygan Lutheran (2012).
