Germantown's KK Arnold has been selected as the state's top senior point guard as part of the WSN Senior Basketball Awards.

Arnold is an athletic point guard who can score at all three levels. She is a quick and explosive playmaker who excels off the dribble and is a nightmare for opponents in transition. KK has strong court vision and is an outstanding passer, allowing her to pick defenses apart.

The 2023 Ms. Basketball award-winner was a three-time first-team WBCA All-State performer. KK earned honorable mention recognition as a freshman.

Arnold averaged 23.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per game with 57 three-pointers made for coach Matt Stuve and the 23-6 Warhawks, a Division 1 state qualifier.

KK shot 47.9 percent from the floor, 71.4 percent from the free throw line, and 36.3 percent from behind the arc as a senior.

Arnold compiled 2,458 points, 765 rebounds, 695 assists, and 415 steals in her career, leading the Warhawks to a 97-15 with two state tournament appearances.

She had numerous triple-doubles in her career, including in wins over DSHA and Kimberly in sectional play during her senior season. Arnold scored a career-best 43 points in a victory against Menomonee Falls on December 6, 2022.

Germantown claimed the WIAA state championship during Arnold's sophomore season. The Warhawks had no WIAA state tournament appearances prior to the 2020-21 season.

KK was a three-time Greater Metro Player of the Year and also earned first-team all-league as a freshman.

Arnold, one of the top seniors in the nation, is the first player in state history to commit to UConn.

The finalists for the award were Arnold, Macy Donarski of Aquinas, Lalani Ellis of Milwaukee Academy of Science, Julianna Ouimette of Lakeland, and Bella Samz of Arrowhead.

Past winners of the award include Kamy Peppler of Hortonville (2022), Bailey Butler of Black Hawk (2021), Lexi Donarski of Aquinas (2020), Sydney Hilliard of Monroe (2019), Kari Brekke of Appleton North (2018), Cassidy Trotter of Beaver Dam (2017), Hannah Whitish of Barneveld (2016), Gabby Green of Pius XI (2015), Gabrielle Ortiz of The Prairie School (2014), Taylor Schmidt of Algoma (2013), and Nicole Bauman of New Berlin Eisenhower (2012).
