Kettle Moraine's Grace Grocholski has been selected as the top senior wing as part of the WSN Basketball Awards

Grocholski is a strong and versatile wing who is a matchup nightmare with her three-level scoring. She is also a standout on defense with the ability to guard perimeter and post players.

She was named first-team WBCA All-State three times in her career. Grace earned honorable mention recognition as a freshman.

The 5-10 wing led Kettle Moraine to a 91-18 record with back-to-back Division 1 state titles, earning WisSports.net All-Tournament MVP as a junior and senior.

Grocholski, a finalist for Ms. Basketball, averaged 24.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.8 steals per game with 80 three-pointers made as a senior for coach Todd Hansen and the 28-1 Lasers.

She shot 51.9 percent from the floor, 78.4 percent from the charity stripe, and 44 percent from 3-point land.

Grocholski finishes her high school career with 2,294 points (13th all-time), 984 rebounds, 344 assists, and 231 steals.

She recorded 13 double-doubles as a senior and scored a career-high 39 points in a victory against Catholic Memorial on February 14, 2023.

Grocholski was named Classic Eight Player of the Year in her final three seasons and also earned first-team all-conference as a freshman.

She is looking for a new college after receiving her NLI release from NCAA Division I West Virginia University. Head coach Dawn Plitzuweit left West Virginia to become the new head coach at the University of Minnesota.

The finalists were Grocholski, Madilyn Dogs of Kewaskum, Lizzie Steingraber of New London, Nevaeh Thomas of Kenosha Bradford, and MaKenzie Drout of Kimberly.

Past winners of the award include Emily LaChapell of Appleton East, Maty Wilke of Beaver Dam (2021), Leilani Kapinus of Madison Memorial (2020), McKenna Warnock of Monona Grove (2019), Hailey Oskey of Seymour (2018), Estella Moschkau of Edgewood (2017), Abby Gerrits of Pewaukee (2016), Arike Ogunbowale (2015), Maya Jonas of Whitefish Bay (2014), Samantha Terry of Baraboo (2013), and Brittney Fair of Nicolet (2012).
