Saint Croix Falls was just four runs in three innings away from a Division 3 state championship last year. The Saints return all but one starter from that silver ball winning-team, highlighted by Purdue commit and reigning Division 3 Player of the Year, Brayden Olson who gave up no earned runs in 63 innings pitched last season while hitting .440 from the plate. Olson is joined by returning all-conference players Brady Belisle, Tyler Olson, Adrian Scott and Dylan Smith.

The rest of the top five consists of Deerfield, Dodgeville, Kenosha St. Joseph and Viroqua.

Below are the preseason spring baseball rankings courtesy of the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook. The 2023 book is the 31st edition, 250 pages in length and in full color. Written and edited by Joe Waite, Chris Lavold and Mark Weber, it features a season breakdown for every high school and college program in the state.
