rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week: Vivian Jones, Kenosha Indian Trail

Kenosha Indian Trail senior Vivian Jones has been selected as the rSchoolToday Athlete of the Week for the week of May 8-14 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 4,692 total votes this week. Jones topped all vote getters with 1,902 votes. Superior's Haley Zembo came in second with 1,730 votes.

The Kenosha Indian Trail girls track and field team came in second place at the the Southeast Conference Championships at Kenosha Tremper this past week. Jones was a big catalyst for the squad. The senior trackster won the long jump with a distance of 17-08.75. Jones then won both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles. She took home a first place finish in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15.55 seconds and won the 300 meter hurdles in 48.20 seconds.
