We asked, you voted, and Janesville Parker at Janesville Craig has been selected as the Kwik Trip and Wisconsin Dairy Game of the Week for Week 4 of the high school football season. A total of 5,699 votes were cast, as this one received 2,335 of those votes. 

The Kwik Trip & Wisconsin Dairy Game of the Week allows you, the fans, to pick what you feel is the biggest high school football game in the state each week. Not only will that game get featured on WisSports.net, but our WSN staff will make it our destination that week, with updates, photos, videos, and stories from the big game.

And of course, no trip to a big game in Wisconsin would be complete without a stop or two at Kwik Trip and a chocolate milk!!

Don't look now, but there are some good things brewing in Janesville. Craig enters unbeaten, while Parker is 2-1. The Cougars didn't have much trouble with Madison West in the conference opener last week, but Parker did fall to Madison Memorial. It has been since 2005 that both Janesville schools made the playoffs in the same season.

The Battle of the Rock will be played at Monterey Stadium, which both teams call home.

"We realize that this is a big game for a lot of different reasons, and that Parker is probably the toughest team we have played this year," Craig head coach Adam Bunderson said. "Our athletes so far have had a really good week of practice and are excited for the matchup."

With some extra juice for this one this year, both teams are trying to keep things business as usual as much as possible.

"Our players understand that they control their attitude and effort in school, during pregame, in-game, halftime, and postgame," said Parker's Clayton Kreger. Like we do every week, we plan and prepare to be 1-0 after Friday night. Our players and coaches continue to trust the process in continued growth and development, we stay focused and grounded on our team's goals and values, we focus on US! Our team motto is WTST -- 'Work Together, Stay Together'."

Hopefully the Janesville community comes out to support what should be a great environment and game.

"The Craig versus Parker game is always exciting, especially in years like this when both teams are quality football teams and are evenly matched," said Bunderson "There are going to be a lot of good football players on the field this Friday night, and that should make for a really good high school football game."
