Brock Koeppel of Westosha Central has been selected as the Week 3 Jolly Good Football Player of the Week following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. His big day allowed him to tie a significant state record. He was chosen from a strong group of nominees in Week 3. A total of 4,115 votes were cast, as Koeppel's 1,715 were enough to edge out second place Jacob Kunz of Rice Lake, who tallied 946 votes.

Westosha Central senior quarterback Brock Koeppel tied a state record with nine touchdown passes on Thursday night as the Falcons beat Wilmot 61-6. Playing just three quarters, Koeppel completed 12-of-14 passes for 354 yards, including seven touchdowns in the first half alone. He also ran for 33 yards on five carries for Westosha Central. His nine touchdown passes ties the record set by Wittenberg-Birnamwood's Ben Wesolowski in a 2021 game.

Remember folks, the only way your favorite player can be named Jolly Good Football Player of the Week is to vote and share the word. Look for the Week 4 nominees to be posted Monday afternoon.
