Offense

Keyser Helterbrand, Senior (Hudson, Wis./Hudson), Quarterback of UW-La Crosse

Helterbrand accounted for six touchdowns in UW-La Crosse's 45-40 win over UW-Stout on Sept. 30. He finished 11-of-21 passing for 297 yards with four touchdowns, while totaling 128 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 15 carries. Helterbrand threw a pair of 77-yard touchdowns in the game. His 297 passing yards and four touchdowns both set single-game career-highs. Helterbrand's two rushing touchdowns also tied a career-high. He recorded his fourth career 100-yard rushing game.

Defense
Joey Antonietti, Sophomore (La Grange, Ill./Lyons Township), Linebacker of UW-Whitewater

Antonietti helped lead the Warhawks to a 37-21 win at UW-Oshkosh on Sept. 30, in the team’s WIAC opener. He picked off a pair of passes - returning one for a score. Late in the second quarter, Antonietti intercepted a Kobe Berghammer pass that led to a field goal as time expired to give UW-Whitewater a 23-0 lead at the break. In the fourth quarter, he jumped a passing lane once again, hauling in the interception and returning it 45 yards for a touchdown that extended the Warhawks lead to 37-6.

Krueger averaged 49.8 yards on five punts with two over 50 yards in UW-La Crosse's 45-40 win over UW-Stout on Sept. 30. He had a career-long punt of 63 yards.
