The Jolly Good Football Player of the Week is ready to go for 2024. Voting is featured at the bottom of this article. Voting is open until Thursday at 2 pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word (hint: Social Media is a great way to do so). Users may vote once per day.

Jolly Good Week 3 Player of the Week Nominees

Bradley Check, La Crosse Logan

Bradley Check has helped Logan to a 3-0 start after the Rangers held on to defeat Sparta 21-16 to open Mississippi Valley Conference play. Check carried the ball 36 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns as a workhorse on the quarterback run game. He also completed six-of-eight passes for 141 yards and led the defense with nine tackles in the victory.

Josiah Johnson, Milwaukee Academy of Science

Milwaukee Academy of Science rallied from a halftime deficit to score an impressive 52-22 win over Kenosha St. Joseph on Friday, making a statement in its first game as a member of the Midwest Classic-Large. Senior running back Josiah Johnson was unstoppable for the Novas, carrying the ball 20 times for 292 yards and five touchdowns as the team put up just shy of 600 yards of offense. 

Ben Paul, Randolph

Randolph began the Trailways Conference schedule with a hard-fought 30-22 victory over Lourdes Academy. Ben Paul completed his only pass of the game, though for no gain, but was a load carrying the football for the Rockets, going for 238 yards and four touchdowns on 28 carries. Paul also recorded nine tackles on defense and punted twice for an average of 42 yards.

Chas Powell, Sussex Hamilton

Sussex Hamilton rebounded from a Week 2 loss to hammer Waukesha West 40-9 in a crossover game. Chas Powell had some big plays in the passing game, completing 11 throws for 225 yards and four touchdowns. He also added 79 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries for the Chargers.

Treve Stoffel, Mosinee

First-year starting quarterback Treve Stoffel had a big game as the Indians knocked off Merrill 28-13 Friday night. Stoffel threw three touchdowns, including a four-quarter score that helped put things away for the Indians. He finished 16-of-27 for 252 yards, adding 39 yards on the ground as well. Over on defense, he led Mosinee with 11 tackles and recorded an interception.
