Kimberly stays in the top spot of the WisSports.net Division 1 Coaches Poll, with Franklin and Verona close behind once again. After taking down Arrowhead, Oconomowoc shoots up from sixth to fourth, while Arrowhead falls from fourth to eighth.
A change at the top of Division 2, as Rice Lake suffered its first loss of the year against New Richmond, dropping the Warriors from first to fourth. Unbeaten Slinger ascends to the number one position this week, followed by defending champion Badger. New Richmond goes from unranked all the way up to third this week, as the Tigers sit alone atop the Big Rivers. Monona Grove falls out of the rankings after only one week.
No changes in the top five this week, as Notre Dame is followed by Catholic Memorial, Mount Horeb/Barneveld, Grafton, and Menomonie. Burlington suffered its first loss of the year against Badger, and the Demons dip from sixth to tenth.
West Salem retains the top spot in the Division 4 Coaches Poll on WisSports.net this week. The top seven is unchanged, though a couple new teams move in at the bottom of the rankings. Baldwin-Woodville is in at number nine, while undefeated Mayville enters for the first time at number ten. Lodi and Seymour drop out this week.
The Division 5 vote was very close, with four different teams receiving a first place tally, but Wrightstown managed to stay on top again this week. In fact, there were no changes in the top ten from last week's poll.
Regis is once again the top-ranked team in Division 6, followed by Coleman and Abbotsford. Mondovi went down to Regis last week, its second straight loss, and the Buffaloes slip from fourth to ninth this week. Luther falls out, with Bonduel taking their place in the rankings.
Not much for changes in the Division 7 rankings this week, where Potosi/Cassville continues to hold down the top spot, followed by Edgar, Pepin/Alma, Black Haw/Warren, and Ioal-Scandinavia in the top five. River Ridge moves back into the rankings this week as Cochrane-Fountain City falls out.
Owen-Withee continued to dominate the 8-player football poll this week, receiving all of the first place votes. There's a slight change in the top five, as McDonell Central moves just ahead of Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas. New Auburn drops out after falling to Clayton, with unbeaten Wausaukee moving into the poll for the first time. There's a huge game in the Ridge & Valley-8 this week, where third-ranked North Crawford will welcome in fourth-ranked Highland.
