2024 Preview

Top Players

Max Breitenbach, Kohler (2025) Breitenbach averaged 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game last season, displaying his versatility on the basketball court. The 6-3 guard is an athlete that has great timing defensively and an explosive first step with the ball in his hand. Breitenbach's has a great feel for the game.

Cade Dirkse, Oostburg (2026) Dirkse is the reigning Player of the Year in the Big East-South conference after he averaged 19 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 2.4 steals as a sophomore, all while shooting 57% from the field. Always poised, Dirkse does it all for the Flying Dutchmen with a motor that does not stop. He's scored nearly 800 points already through two varsity seasons.

Cameron Ferraino, Sheboygan Christian (2026) Ferraino was the lead guard for the Eagles last season. He averaged 12.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game and was named an honorable mention all-conference selection. At 5-11, Ferraino is a tad undersized, but has a knack for getting to his spot and getting his shot.

Owen Gulke, Cedar Grove-Belgium (2026) Gulke was a second team all-Big East South selection last year after averaging 17 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game as a sophomore. At 6-0, Gulke can score inside and out as he's always hunting his shot. He does a great job of preparing for each shot and can create separation off the dribble to create his own as well.

Brennen Hackbarth, Sheboygan Lutheran (2026) Hackbarth was a second team all-conference selection last season after leading Lutheran in scoring with 14.4 points per game and adding 7.7 rebounds. The 6-5 forward is comfortable scoring with his back to the basket and has the ball skills to attack from the perimeter.

Andrew Krueger, Sheboygan Lutheran (2025) Krueger was a first team all-conference selection last season after he averaged 14.3 points and 2.2 assists per game. The 5-11 guard is lethal from beyond the arc as he made 66 of 165 three point shots, good for 40%.

Zane Willadsen, Kohler (2025) Willadsen was a unanimous all-conference selection last year after averaging 16.4 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting 57% from the field. He's a great compliment to Breitenbach as at 6-4, Willadsen dominates down low and and forces the defense to sink in, allowing the shooters more open looks.

Jamison Zavatchin, Oostburg (2026) Zamatchin is the top returning scorer in the entire state in the Class of 2026 with regards to total points scored. Through his sophomore year, the 6-4 forward had tallied 1,030 career points. He averaged 21 points and 7.9 rebounds per game last season en route to a first team all-Big East South nod. Zavatchin is a match up nightmare as he can score from all levels on the court. The junior scorer also has some bounce as he's not afraid to elevate and dunk in traffic.

Brock Zylstra, Sheboygan Christian (2025) Zylstra averaged 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists last season for Christian. At 6-6, he has an abundance of length to go pair with his ball-handling ability. Zylstra has committed to play ball at NCAA Division III Concordia-Wisconsin and is primed for an offensive explosion in his senior year.
